We are located in Cut-n-Shoot, TX right out of Conroe and just 30 miles NE of Houston.
We just love the dachshund breed and with much sadness recently lost our first dachshund who blessed us with 18 1/2 wonderful years and still have her daughter whom is now 17 years old. We are owned by them and many retirees and rescues that have come to reside with us over the many years. All of our weenies are our pets first, with them ruling the roost inside our home. They are not called dogs here, but our four-legged children and grandchildren. We only have a few limited puppies a year available. We do not breed our girls back to back. Most of girls are either being retired or are taking a long vacation.

Occasionally we take in rescues like the ones below that require medical needs or help an elderly heart broken person on a fixed income at our local vet because they had no choice but to make the decision to put their dog to sleep because they could not afford certain medical procedures. All our proceeds minus our cost is donated to this fund. Help us to continue to help them! Also, if you are interested in an older dachshund, please let us know in we have one available looking for a forever loving home.

Our lasted rescues are Carly & Dino whom we took in on June 20th after their owner was on the way to take them to the pound. We were shocked at their condition! They were kept in an outside pen with no shelter, severely malnourished, infested with fleas, worms, and major sores. They will be up for adoption in a few months once they are in healthy conditions. They are both very friendly and they have a close bond with one another. While not necessary, we are hoping they can remain together. They must be inside dogs & they have done really well with potty training and use a doggie door. Carly is a year old red female (scared of children) and Dino is a happy black & tan male that is 1 1/2 years old.
UPDATE: Both are doing really great and are now well enough to be adopted. If interested send us an email.
